El archivo contiene una biblioteca y hemeroteca abierta al público, una cineteca que guarda más de 90 mil rollos de película en varios soportes y formatos y varias colecciones como los 400 aparatos de registro y reproducción de imágenes fílmicas, más de tres mil afiches originales de películas argentinas, 360 bocetos de escenografía y vestuario y 400 piezas de vestuario utilizadas en películas argentinas, junto con alrededor de 60 mil fotografías de películas y celebridades del cine.
